This is one of the finest flatware pattern ever made with heavy silver gauge and one of the most
intricate and difficult to realize. Designed in 1831 for the Russian Prince Paul Demidoff, this model
“Vigne” exalts the revival of naturalisms of the Restauration.

background , most of their patterns were specially designed for the rulers and the elite in Europe, under Louis XV, Louis XVI and the Empire. They are still carrying the tradition of master craftsman-
Maître Orfèvre for (3) three centuries.
